CAIS is pleased to offer the New School Services Program, a service designed to assist young schools in their early years. The CAIS Board of Directors instituted this program to assist new schools in developing policies and programs that are in alignment with Association standards and which will help to ensure school success.
To be eligible for CAIS membership, schools must have been in operation for six years and be incorporated not for profit. Secondary schools must have at least six full time students enrolled at each grade level and elementary schools must offer at least five consecutive grades beyond kindergarten. In the years prior to eligibility for membership, we wish to assist schools in establishing policies and programs that are in alignment with Association standards and which will help to ensure school success.
The CAIS New School Services Program will provide new schools with the following services:
- Telephone consultation with the CAIS executive director.
- Registration at most CAIS conferences and workshops on a space available basis. (The Annual and Regional Meetings are not included).
- The use of the CAIS/WASC accreditation manual.
The fee for this program is $1,000. Regular fees will apply for conference registration.
