K-2 teachers and administrators are invited to a workshop focused on a discussion of environmental curriculum and lessons aimed at primary grade students. The Earth is our only home, so letŐs teach the next generation how to take care of it.
Participants will: - listen to a guest speaker who is an expert in the field of environmental education - have the opportunity to share and learn about lesson ideas and long-term curriculum planning relating to K-2 environmental education - share and learn about "greening" practices that can be done in their classrooms as well as throughout their schools - work collaboratively to develop new lessons and curriculum relating to environmental education - identify their areas of need, and explore resources or talk to other educators who can help them fill those needs - be allowed to access all of the resources provided for and created during the day, on-line.
