Sea Crest School
Sea Crest School Scholarship Run

On May 13, every student attending Sea Crest School ran (or speed walked) in the highly successful annual Scholarship Run. This activity embodies the community spirit of the students, carrying out the school’s motto “We are each other’s keepers,” and “I leave it better than I found it.”

Each student raised funds to help support students who want to be part of the Sea Crest community but cannot afford to pay for an independent education. The school is committed to keeping tuition as low as possible, and offers the lowest tuition as an accredited independent school from as far north as San Francisco and as far south as Saratoga. In total, the students raised enough money to subsidize the equivalent of two full tuitions to help diversify the student body through our financial assistance program.

The award assembly, held June 3, honored all of the students and adult volunteers who helped make this the most successful Scholarship Run in Sea Crest School’s history. Students ran a total of 3,994 laps and shot 1,710 baskets. They demonstrated what it means to be each other’s keepers.
