Speech Language Pathologist
Description
Stanbridge Academy seeks a full or part time speech pathologist to work with our school community, serving students with mild-moderate learning disabilities and social thinking disorders. Duties include a combination of the following:

Small groups focusing on language processing with students in elementary grades.
Provide individual and small group speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12
Co-teach social learning groups - develop and implement targeted lessons based on group needs
Develop innovative therapy and treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
Provide formal and informal assessments as necessary
Write assessment reports and progress updates as necessary
Communicate with school districts to provide goal updates and collaborate to write updated goals
Communicate and collaborate with parents, teachers, and outside professionals
Support students' social learning and speech/language development during recess, lunch, and field trips
Support teachers and assist in modifying curriculum related to speech and language as needed
Support teachers with specific strategies and language used in therapy to assist with carryover across the school day
Consultation and collaboration with teaching and counseling staff to deliver a school wide social learning program consistent with the work of Michele Garcia Winnerís Social Thinking program.
