The employee handbook is a critical document that sets forth all of the school’s policies and procedures. A properly drafted handbook can support discipline and terminations, as well as procedures for reporting harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, among others. This session will address essential provisions that all private school handbooks should contain. It will also address the parent/student handbook that is critical in establishing part of the legal contractual relationship between schools and their families.
