CAIS Heads' Roundtable Session IV: Advancement

This event is open to participants from CAIS member schools only.

A professional learning opportunity for heads of school in their first few years of headship, consisting of roundtable presentations and discussions.

Cost: $350 – Registration for the 2021-2022 New Head Roundtable is all inclusive and covers the cost of all six sessions. Individual sessions may not be prorated.

Sessions will focus on independent school governance, finance, fundraising, and trends, and will feature presentations by experts in each field and interaction amongst the new heads. Participants will be invited to pose questions and dilemmas that they are facing in the area under discussion. CAIS Executive Director Dr. Deborah Dowling, retired heads of school, and industry leaders will facilitate these discussions.

NB: All live sessions will be held on Wednesdays via Zoom Meeting. Recordings will be available to registered participants only.

Session II: Budget and Finance–November 9, 2022, 12:00pm-1pm

Session III: NHR [email protected]/School Head Conference–January 27, 2023, 7:00pm-8:00pm

Session IV: Advancement–March 22, 2023, 12:00pm-1pm

Session V: Looking Ahead–May 10, 2023, 12:00pm-1pm

Session VI: NHR Reception–June 25, 2023, 5:00pm-6:00pm, Hotel Del Coronado

IMPORTANT: This CAIS program is intended to supplement, not to replace, the NAIS Institute for New Heads.

Cancellation Policy
Written cancellations received by October 5, 2022 are eligible for a refund after a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after October 5 are ineligible for refund.
