St. Margaret’s is seeking a full-time Special Subject teacher to join the faculty of the Lower School to begin in August, 2019. The ideal candidate is an educator with a passion for working with young learners.

Primary teaching responsibilities include:
• Teach a variety of content related to Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Mindfulness, Character Education, and Cultural Competency to eighteen homeroom classes of Kindergarten through Grade Five students in a self-contained, special subject classroom
• Collaboratively plan with school counselors, chaplains, and Lower School Director of Community Life

Ideal candidates will have the following background:
• Bachelor degree in a related field
• California Teaching Credential is preferred
• Prior experience teaching in an elementary school setting is preferred
