About Berkeley
Welcome to The Berkeley School - a beacon of educational excellence for 60 years. Located across two campuses in Berkeley, California, we serve 211 students from 2.3 years old through 8th grade. At TBS our mission is to, "ignite curious minds, awaken generous hearts, and engage a changing world." Our instruction goes beyond traditional boundaries, focusing on cultivating well-rounded individuals. We empower students with essential life skills, fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Central to our approach is civic engagement. We believe in preparing students to actively contribute to their communities. Through this, we instill a sense of responsibility and a passion for making a positive impact.
